you have a tgz package, no installation needed

I will try to uninstall it and reinstall. But consider that in Ubuntu you will get a lot of users. Xnview is perfect I tried a lot of utility and this is the best for photo management.

i've tried on ubuntu 12, and i can't reproduce the problem.
All settings are saved correctly...
