Hello,
... Maybe you can try to download it again ... ?

@Pierre, ... Maybe a MD5 checksum is needed for each XnView(MP) version to be sure than the downloaded file is not corrupted (to avoid this kind of problem)

I don't know why you haven't this problem - as you see on the screenshot the problem exists

I didn't do anything special - it just a bug and nothing more
could you desactive this setting to check if the bug occurs

Could you change the language of your copy of XnViewMP to English temporarily and post an image of the above error message you are obtaining: (In English: Tools > Settings... -- General -- Language).

Note you can use 'Alt + PrintScreen' to capture just the error message window, and screenshots are best saved as PNGs...

I don't talk about 'show as thumbnails', but the option in 'file list'

Do you have video files on subfolder?

I have the same problem. It seems that the issue occurs after I disable the "Sets of categories" Data pane. Disabling 'show as thumbnail' for folders does not help. The only way that works for me to open the program again without crashing it is to remove the PathBrowser and customPath values in the xnview.ini file.

if you delete the xnview.ini, it starts the first time, right?
Do you have tried to re-download it?
When you have the crash could you send the report?

Do you have tried with a clean xnview.ini/xnview.db?
