hum, it's clean but 2 radiobuttons to set it

The present 'No fit' option would need to be added as another 'Fit to...' option?

And then three possible 'Condition' options available?

The idea was to provide additional viewing options, but any new options that are needed could in principle be added to the existing vertical list, and it would be natural to run the eye down the expanded list to select the required option...

Remember that we don't change both radiobuttons every hour. In fact I don't think that we change any radiobutton every hour...
The idea was to provide additional viewing options, but any new options that are needed could in principle be added to the existing vertical list, and it would be natural to run the eye down the expanded list to select the required option...
Well yes, but having just one list for a cartesian product (that is, all combinations of two dimensions/factors: Fit to... and How to fit...) can be quite confusing to write in just one list.

Speaking now as a programmer rather than an user, I would choose the 'No fit'/uncovered cases to be just 100% (unscaled)

IOW if one chooses:

a.) Fit to...: {blah} - Condition: Small images only - then the large images will be 100%
b.) Fit to...: {blah} - Condition: Large images only - then the small images will be 100%
