Do you mean if I am going to add a new keyword to new image that doesn't have any, I can pick from a list of keywords I've used before for other images?

That's great if that's the case (and I apologize then for the post!)--or if that isn't the case, maybe I wasn't clear before stating what I was looking for.

I would also like to see the implementation in the IPTC editor of a browseable list of previously used keywords and captions. As mentioned earlier, this would help consistency in categorizing images and would help to avoid tedious typing and possible typing errors. This would speed up workflow immensely.

I think this is very usefull. I think there should be some kind of hierachical catalog where the keywords are organized. I was at an Apple Aperture seminar this week and the way they implemented tags is very good.

BTW: Is there something similiar in xnview deluxe, or am i wrong?

I still use Exifer to seht the keywords because there I can save my favorites for every Exif and IPTC tag. It is made with drop down lists. Perhaps it could be also implemented in a similar way to XnView.
