b1: Fullscreen and Taskbar Isn't Hidden
Moderators: helmut, XnTriq, xnview
Ok, here's what I've learnt:
- Mainly affects large images for me (larger than desktop resolution)
- It's not a ATI problem
- It's not a INI problem
- It's not a Hide Scrollbar (enabled or disabled) problem
- Bug does not exist when using "Switch Modes" Double-click set to "Browser -> Fullscreen -> Viewer" and using Double-click to View image.
- Bug exists when using "Switch Modes" Double-click set to "Browser -> Viewer" and using F11 or context menu to View image.
Theres no point in me uploading my INI for people to try as I've tried XnView with a virgin INI and there is no difference.

Ok, I think I have it.
I needed to use another computer as well as mine.
The bug is in the "Auto Image Size" feature.
View Mode:
Auto Image Size set to No Fit
View Mode -> Fullscreen:
Auto Image Size set to Like View Mode
Now view large images (bigger than your desktop) in Fullscreen using F11 or context menu methods and after a while you will see the taskbar down the bottom. It doesn't affect every image which makes this a very tough bug to reproduce.

b2, deleted ini, a bunch of images bigger that desktop.
Set two options as per ckit's post.
Using F11 to display picture, then Esc to exit (after every image) and moving among images in file list with cursors.
Well, the problem sometimes definitely appears. Here it is displaying taskbar for a part of second before hiding it. At the other computer (however I haven't tested on it in 'laboratory' conditions) taskbar stays on screen. I think I'll prepare a movie displaying that.
Also, when moving (in the above way) quickly among images, sometimes for a split second a previous image is displayed, replaced by the correct one.
X.

This did not happen with previous versions of XnView so no I don't believe that.
I will check again with another machine that has 1.80.3 installed.
Update:
The other machine with 1.80.3 does not have the bug.
Update 2:
On my machine I've closed all taskbar apps and as many system tray apps as I can and the problem still exists. The bug in RC1 is harder to produce than in previous Betas though.

Xyzzy, if you want to close this fine.
I don't care anymore, ever since you became a Mod you've been nothing but trouble.
I'll keep IrfanView for Fullscreen purposes.
