Is it possible to get this to work, no matter which Qt libraries are on the system?

Continues to happen in version 1.0.
Perhaps there's an alternative method that doesn't require the Qt libraries to match on the system?
Because even if this is "fixed" in a certain version of XnViewMP, it will later break when the user's system is updated.

As an update, even on XnViewMP 1.01, this is the message I see in the terminal:
Right-click -> Open in file explorer
kf.service.services: KApplicationTrader: mimeType "x-scheme-handler/file" not found
This is on Linux, KDE:
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0
Qt Version: 5.15.5
