ok, I'd never used this feature, and now i'm surprised that fullscreen work correctly from browser, but i don't sure what is image tab?
P.S. usually my user experience like that: open file from finder via xnview, listing some photos, make the full screen mode if I show photos to someone else

a! i catch it. no problem if i press maximaize green MACos icon
but if the folder contein some video file , for example .mp4 with automatic start, then when i listed from that mp4 file to previous BUGed photos in fullscreenmode --> now all photos in folder scrolling normally! It works while i'm not closing xnnview, even in other folders works fullscreenmode. Very interesting behave, it seems as if the program does not work quite correctly with the video driver, but after watching the video the interaction occurs as expected

So you start XnView, select an image file, open it in image tab, choose 'fullscreen', and you the problem right?
I've tried on MacOS 12.7 & 14.1, and can't reproduce
