I also had this problem using XNview v.1.4.5 in Linunx Mint. I do not see change with v1.5.0, I click Never ask again but in vain, asked again.
I do not see that option in Settings.

@Timur: In Tools > Settings... > Integration -- Paths tab do you have your .ini file in User (System) or Program (XnView) ?

I'm not sure whether that could possibly be relevant and in Mint there might be a rights problem?

It is User ~/.config/xnviewmp/xnview.ini and it changed recently, so I do not think it is rights problem.
I do not know which setting is for not offering to save changes, I see "savingChanges=0"
I click "Do not ask again" and "Don't save" but I am asked again. Really annoying. I want to never be offered to save, any session.
