Hello,
Files are renamed beforehand using a date and time sort. Please have a look to the attached a file below.
The problem is still there.
When the rename/copy process works, it seems that the files are processed randomly. I say this because the window showing the process shows this.
Yours sincerely.

so how do you achieve the expected result?
- input
- sort input list by name/modeified-date
- output
- apply enumerator to sorted input list AND
- reset enumerator on new folder
test files from prev post:
xn.7z

Hello,
For the moment I can't obtain the expected result

. Enumerators of files are still in the wrong order.
The root cause is perhaps because I can't find the option "
reset enumerator on new folder" mentioned in the previous post.
Please, where is this option?
Regards.

Hello,
It really don't undestand. I'm sorry about that

.
In you print screen I just can see a dot in the "Input folder" option. This is what you call "
reset enumerator on new folder"?
If yes, for me, this option is not ok. The way the "Import & Sort" works is not ok for me.
It doesn't matter. I will work in another way.
It's too hard to explain in English.
Regards.

I think its better to rework "# enumerator per [Input/Output folder]"
into single "Continuous numbering" (or "Consecutive numbering") checkbox (unchecked by default), eg:
if "New filename" is checked and has # enumerator,
depending on "Continuous numbering" checkbox:
☐ - use global numbering
☑ - use local numbering (per output folder)
ps: maybe I'm missing something, but so far I see absolutely no reason to use enumerator per source folder

Hello,
I confirm, the new version 1.8.1 works well

. When I use the "
Import and Sort" function files are sorted an renamed correctly.
I have to use "
Output folder" option in the "
# enumerator per folder" section.
Good job!!!
Regards.
