Re: atio6axx.dll crash after exiting video viewer
Well, given that this problem just showed up in the latest XnView and that I've had zero issues with anything else (I use multiple graphics / photo programs) I'm not ready to mess with drivers yet.

I don't recall seeing it, but I'd have to downgrade to 1.9.1 to verify. Is that version available to download? If several older version are available I could "walk back" until I find a working version (assuming there are no other ill effects from downgrading).

Oh wait, look what I found...
https://download.xnview.com/old_versions/XnView_MP/
I'll be back with some results, but I can't guarantee how quickly.

Re: atio6axx.dll crash after exiting video viewer
OK, I lied (but not intentionally)... I thought I had something else to do but I had time after all.
So I've just installed several older versions and tested each by simply opening and closing the video player (I did not actually play the video). For each downgrade, I just ran the installer on top of what was already installed. I didn't totally remove / expunge everything I could find. Would that make a difference? I don't know but I'm not interested in going that far right now.
Results? It crashes after closing the video player on every version I've tried: 1.9.2, 1.9.1, 1.9.0, 1.8.8, 1.8.7, 1.8.6... At this point, I just went straight to 1.7.2 (from June 2024) and it crashed as well.
In every case it was the same: No debug dialog, no log, no dump. Just *poof* and it vanishes. But in the Windows Application log I find this:
Other than timestamps and report IDs all failures are identical.
