There is a wording to change (Close other to Close Others) and we are done with this option.
If someone wants other items, please provide a presumably commonly used scenario for them.

"Close others" in 1.82 RC1 to "Close Others" (upper/lower case, like "Close All").
Or "Close All" could become "Close all" (like menu "File > Close all"). Then, "Close others" can persist.

I think we should consult a native speaker/writer (I'm not

).
From my point of view, there are too much upper-case words in XnView. I think it should be 'Close all' (lowercase 'a', or perhaps completely lowercase 'close all').
And this should be treated consistently in the whole app for all labels/expressions!

In RC2 upper/lowercase is still inconsistent:
- Close others
- Close All

Good evening !
From my point of view, there are too much upper-case words in XnView…
- I agree totally ! This is a strange mania that can be found in almost all programmes in English, and that pollutes the other languages !
- In French especially, that looks quite ridiculous…
- Of course, it's normal to place a cap a each string start, but then it's not needed at all… except to get readable hot keys for a limited number of characters, i.e. :
g -
y and some others are ambiguous and not well readable, while
G -
Y are.
- And since in German this can change the meaning for the same word as noun or else I guess, that can be quite irritating…

Note :
- I hunt the useless caps. in the French language (for my own use), but unfortunately, Pierre caught the "
Cap-Mania-Illness" and they come back @ each new release…

Well, let the English-speaking users talk about the problem. In Polish version I am sure there aren't unneeded caps.

Florian, in your comment you refer to English language (not German), right?
