done in 170

but also need to
  • rename in Settings>View>View:
Reset 'Auto Image size' setting with next/previous* file →
Reset 'Auto zoom' setting with previous/next file

    * it's worded as "previous/next" eg in Settings>Interface>Mouse and probably a little bit more logical to use left-to-right variant

Hello, i will try to express myself in English...

The problem, for me, is the word you use to define the zoom or the imagine adjusting.

The right word must be "reducing"...

Reducing image to the window, reducing vertical of the image, reducing horizontal of the image, etc...

In french, the new setting added in the 1.70 version is "ajuster à la fenêtre, plus large"

"Adjusting to the windows, larger or "wider"... "

If i creat a setting who will do what i expect, the name will be "Larger image reducing".

Simply that...

no adaptation, juste reducing image to fit the window, respecting the ratio.

Only wider images will be reduced, the smaller will stay at 100% of their sizes.

Deep Thank you for this great software.

English wording is perfect, it doesn't need to be changed.

Code: Select all

No fit
Fit image to window
Fit image to window, large only
Fit image to window, small only
Fit image to window width
Fit image to window height
Fit image to window width or height
Fit window to image
Fit image to desktop

There aren't too many options to adjust for you ?

:?

If you respect the image ratio, you have only 2 solutions:

1- enlarge
2- reduce

Normally, we never enlarge a numeric image... excepted for retouching them...

So...

If people want to enlarge, they can use that

Image

or "CTRL + scroll"
