Crash while writing IPTC

Hi
I'm adding IPTC data to large numbers of camera files. If I try to add to more than about 250 files (500mb), the program always hangs.
XP, Athlon X2 64, 2 Gig Ram, latest version (also happened with previous version)

Hangs or take long time?

Hi Pierre
I'm pretty sure it is hanging. I get a 'Program not Responding' when I try to close it, and The IPTC info has always been added to about the same number of files (200+). If I process in batches of 200, it works fine.

Sometimes I've experienced "program not responding" when closing busy software, but it was actually still running – trying to close it crashes it. Maybe if you leave it for a while? I think XnView is slow with IPTC.

I've tried on 1200 files, and no problem. Your files are all in jpeg?
Perhaps there is one file that xnview can't update??

Hi Pierre
I think the files are all fine, as I was able to do it in batches. They were large camera files and I had other programs open, so it may be a memory problem.
I don't need to do any more large batches for a while, so it's not urgent.

One more quick one - how about a keyboard shortcut for Batch Rename?
