Right-click-open shortcut

1. Find a thumbnail for shortcut in XnView.
2. Rightclick and choose "open"
3. "Warning! Error opening file (name)!"

Would be better if XnView recognised this as a shortcut and just opened it – the same as when you doubleclick it.

Mine is different.

I double-click on a shortcut for a folder and XnView produces the Move dialog then Copy dialog and then it opens the folder.

It's funny to watch actually :)

Nice here

:) Hello !

• Here with XP-Pro SP1, all works fine, as well from the local menu "Open" as a single click >> Preview,
or a double-click >> View:D

Can't reproduce it if the link is on picture file

:? Sorry, forgot to say I meant for a folder, not image. For images there is no problem.

In RC1 there is no error message anymore, nothing just happens.

And while were at it, I do not understand why a normal double-click (on a folder shotcut) opens the folder in explorer and NOT in XnView. It is illogical if you ask me, and obstructs the navigation.

Fixed in RC2.
