				[Wish] Copy name¦s to Clipboard…

 Hello !
• Indeed we have the
File listing, but this is not handy and needs :
1. To be in Browser mode,
2. To fill out entries in a dialogue in which the most ones are useless the most times.
3. To create a text-file, so one can't paste directly a file-name elsewhere when needed…
• The
Listing thingy is no more available in
View mode, and I miss commands (let's say, for 1…3 buttons) allowing to simply copy the current file-name into the Clipboard…
- So, I ought make this in Total Commander, that breaks the workflow…

- In that programme, we have the following commands to do so :
cm_CopyNamesToClip —> Copies the current file-name¦s into the Clipboard.
cm_CopyFullNamesToClip —> Copies the current file-name¦s plus the full path¦s into the Clipboard.
cm_CopyNetNamesToClip —> Same for a Network path.
- There are others about Source¦Target, but useless here.
- The most missing being of course
cm_CopyNamesToClip to use for a single current file in
View…
• Please, could you consider this wish ?

I support your request as long as it's in the Edit menu.
Toolbar buttons would be a waste for Clipboard functions.

				Extra-buttons…

 Hi !
• Thanks !
- But when I say "buttons", I don't mean by default ! I mean buttons one can add now using extra-icons
(that are not provided yet… except some I made for tests).
- Each user can add any button s¦he needs, can't him¦her not ?
- So, only internal commands are missing, in the same painting than those of TC I show above…

In Browser mode, when using "Edit > Copy" path and filename of the files is copied to the clipboard. You can then paste these into a new text file, for example.
Perhaps the same could happen when using "Edit > Copy" in view mode: The clipboard can contain multiple contents of different types, i.e. image data and a string. So when using "Edit > Copy" the filename could be copied to the clipboard (in addition to the image contents).
From my point of view this would be consistent.
