In Beta 5 (original message here): dragging files over a collapsed Folder/Favourite/Category should expand it automatically.

Currently you have it on folder tree, but only if you drag&drop on the '+', not full item. If you think that it's better to use the item rectangle, no problem

Yes, I think it would be much better to use the item rectangle (or ideal: '+' & Bitmap & Item rectangle, if possible).
