Still BGs for file types…

Hello !
You wrote
Houps, ok. ColorFilter is for text color, not background...
• I just checked in ß-6, we have still
the backgrounds as colours by file-types,
not the texts…
• Checking the INI, I see that we have now also the BG and the colours, but the default colour values being the same (I didn't rebuilt the whole INI !) on the screen we might read nothing…
…
BColorFilter26=jp2, 237 237 202
…
ColorFilter1=jpeg, 237 237 202
- I see still the BGs and a black font for all.
- Please, indicate which handling is needed to use the fonts colours and the single BG for all…
- In the meantime, I continue to test this…

Remove all BColorFilter
Not the trick

Hi !
Remove all BColorFilter

That doesn't the trick, since the programme rewrites them immediately,
with the old default colours, like we saw out the forum…
• I had to rename the ColorFilter1…9 into 01 …09 like you said, and then I get the colours for these entries for text.
• One may set an individual custom BG for each type, but I couldn't get the single common BG for all.
- This issue is pending.
- Also the question : May we
add types, or is the bunch limited to the original INI entries amount ?
EDIT : According to my next tests, the answer is
NO
- Limited up to 26 file-types…

You have the option in option/File list/Misc
The snag is---

Hello !
• It doesn't take precedence over the individual BGs, and since one can't suppress them, they are displayed still…
- Only the files having
no colour¦BG by type have this “single” BG…
• That seems unsolvable as long as the individual BGs can't be really disabled and
NOT rebuilt endlessly…

Currently the only is to change all BColorFilter

Hello !
Currently the only is to change all BColorFilter
• Indeed, and sometimes this could be interesting…
- But it should be nice to get an entry able simply to turn
all the BColorFilter ON¦OF as one go, let's say like :
SwitchB_Filters = Flag

0 –> OFF (default)

1 –> ON
• Nice to have this for the final release if possible, please…
