after adding new folder (browser), jump to last folder

Hello,
If I create a new sub folder e.g. of my files, it jumps, after typing the name, not to this new subfolder name, but to the name of the subfolder marked before.
I think this behaviour is incorrect, or am I wrong and its an feature, I do not understand?

Can't reproduce it, could you tell me how to reproduce it?

Hello,
of course I can:
In browser mode: click on an folder (here called a), then right click on an other directory of your choice (here called b), select new folder (to create a new subfolder of b), type in a name for it (e.g. "b") and press Enter =>you are not in b, but in a. Then you have to search for b, because after creating a folder, it is normal to go to that folder in order to put files into or something like that, I think!

Ok, so for me it's the normal behaviour, but perhaps not for all users

It would weight less, if it is possible, to paste files on the folder name, as usual in Win. But in XNView one is forced to go into the folder, to paste the files. I know, this is a problem to be solved for a new version...
Or will you add it?

Minor bug IMHO.

It is the normal behaviour (the current selected folder
was and still
is 'a').
It is especially convenient if you want to move files of the current folder into a new folder: no need to move back and scroll twice through folders...
=> not a bug and I wouldn't even support this as an option.

If I want to move files, I mark them, copy/cut them into clipboard and create a new folder and then want to paste them into. So it makes no sense for me at all!
If it would be possible to paste files on the foldername, this would be a better solution, but at the moment...

I see: you use copy/paste while I use drag'n drop.
Would selecting the new folder (with mouse) be a real drawback? (if so, it would be worth considering your suggestion as an option)

What about both: An option to select what you want?
And paste into folder name should be a great thing, too!

I don't think another option is needed, you can first use the left button.
