How to save the window configuration

Hello,
I am just beginning to use the new version 1.90. When I size the tree-window, the dataset-window, an the preview-window, these settings are not saved on exiting the program. Whenever I start xnview, the tree-window and the dataset-window are minimized an I have to resize them.
How can I save my configuration of the windows?

Thanks for help.

Strange, all pane are saved for me, do you use an old xnview.ini?

I am having the same problem. I did an uninstall of the 1.82 version before I installed the 1.90 version, and I use the .ini to save.

Try with a clean .ini?

That worked. :) I renamed the old .ini to .saf and saved a new .ini after I created all the settings... it saved the window positions just fine. :) Thanks for a great program!

Works after deletion of xnview.ini

Hello,

after deletion of the xnview.ini the window configuration is saved. But this solution is not very satisfying. I spent some time to set all options to what I want them to be. Now I have to remeber all my settings and do the changes again.

Is there a possibility to migrate the changes from xnview 1.84.2 to 1.90?

Thanks for your help.

Could you send me your xnview.ini to check the problem?

as you advised me, I removed MaximizeXnviewAtStartup from the .ini and now it works fine.

thanx!
But I think something is going wrong...

I opened xnview.ini, deleted the line with Maximize etc etc... , saved, opened xnview, changed something (just to see if it works), closed, then re-opened, and It did not worked. It's like the first time I've opened it and also the xnview.ini has again (very strange :!: ) the line deleted just seconds before...
I cannot understand what is wrong. :|

Remade !

:) Hello !

• I've commented the line with a semi-colon “;”, but after I restarted¦closed XnView,
the line has been remade @ another location in the file !

• So, there is a hitch…

 Kind regards, Claude

same thing for me...
No results with deleting or commenting the line.
(and the commented line as Clo said, pops out uncommented in another location inside the same file)
