Hello everybody!

I find that the info.txt-file for skins should be completely documented and the bitmaps described. I read the whole thread which I think is the most informative:

But it's obvious that it's out of date...

I recommend that Pierre finally unleashes the secrets of info.txt to clarify skinning questions.

Ok

version = 2 (current version to use all bitmaps)

main32 = 1 => main32.bmp
browser = 1 => browser.bmp
browser32 = 1 => browser32.bmp (on Xp/Vista)
auto = 1 => create hot and disable icon
tabtree = 1 => tree.bmp (icons in tab for tree, and for categories/rating)
icninfo = 1 => info1.bmp & info2.bmp (icons on thumbnails & categories/rating)
imbar = 1 => jpgbar.bmp (used in jpeg lossless dialog)

• Not quite updated yet, but better than nothing, please have a look HERE

• Now, the small browser tool-bar has 11 icons, and we can add also extra-bitmaps for the Categories etc.

• You could get a clue from the skins-pack of mine that is available HERE.
- Especially, please see the Mus_Musculus skin about its <info.txt> file,
and also the browser tool-bar and the extra bitmaps it contains, all is up to date…

• Wrong, since with "2", you can't display the two extra-icons of the browser tool-bar Next and Previous folder…
- To get this, one needs "version = 3"

• The “Mezich” skin is outdated about the browser tool-bar.
- For a test, you could add two simple 16*16 motives enlarging that bitmap, @ the right side from the "Filter" icon :
—> [Filter][Previous][Next]
• Indeed, set version = 3 like I said above.

• You could also give a glance in my pack, jus to see the template I quoted
