I use the current version of Xnview (1.91.5), other colleagues Version 1.80.

I want to transmit my configuration to other PCs - is it possible to use my 1.91-ini in a 1.80 version? Or is is necessary to configure the old version by config-menu?

• I think that you might not attempt to do so.
A mountain of entries have been added¦changed since the 1.8… versions which indeed don't support them.
- Hence, you can only tweak the INIs of 1.80 to match yours from the Options or by hand,
but only for the items which existed already (and have not been changed).

Because they use the (old) software package of our company and I use new software ..

You can try, not all settings will be used for 1.80
