Hi folks!!

I've dowloaded XnView (Windows version) from here: http://pagesperso-orange.fr/pierre.g/xn ... nload.html

...but I've tried to open .djvu files with the program and it sends me a warning as: "It is unknown how to read XXXX.djvu".

Could anybody help me?

PS: I've installed all indicated features of the program. :?:

:) Hello ! Welcome aboard !

• Like it's indicated HERE, *.DJVU needs a plug-in, there is no built-in support.
- So, you have to download the plug-ins pack and unpack it into the <Plugins> sub folder of the programme.

 Kind regards,
Claude

:) Again…
… …where am I wrong?
• Please, check if you have a file <Xdjvu.dll> among the ones you installed.
- Here, it's so big, ~ 0.9 MiB.
• Did you try to restart XnView, then attempt to display your file¦s again ?

• Finally, it should be useful to get one file of yours to test. You may place one @ an image host
(if you can't place it in a personal web folder).
- See i.e. : In browser mode >> Tools menu >> Plugin >> ImageShack.

FAQ "Does XnView support graphic format .xyz?" provides various information regarding supported formats and plug-ins.

:) Hello :

• I've downloaded your sample, and I can't open it either in XnView :|

• Only Pierre can say whether that variant of DJVU could be added to the supported formats,
maybe via another plug-in DLL, he's the expert at this…

Excuse me for my ignorance, do you mean General Public License with GPL?

Will XnView be ever able to open a file like that some day?
