In Batch processing (Tools > Batch processing) you can specify delta values for the Transformation "Resize Canvas". The canvas is resized when specifying positive delta values, but nothing happens if you specify negative delta values.

Odd. It works perfectly for me.
Width [0] (in the boxes on the left, not %)
Height [-5]
[ ]Keep Ratio
[x]Use above values as size delta
Poition [Top center]

Very strange. This does not work for me - I've tried several times with various image formats (JPG, PCX).
BTW:
Right after pressing "Go" the focus jumps to another window.

Can someone confirm?

I have tried on a jpg with "negatives values", "as size delta" and "center", and that works too without to jump to another window.

What will be fixed? The negative value problem or the window focus problem? Or both?

In 1.93.2 the negative values work.
But:
When specify +5 the canvas is enlarged by 5 pixels. But when specifying -5 the image is cropped
10 pixels. I think that's a bug.

I can't confirm. If you use top-left +5 add 5 pixels, and -5 remove 5 pixels
