Hello everyone,

I've recently made the switch from ACDSee to XnView and so far I love it, but there's one small issue that's bugging me:

In ACDSee, after a Batch Resize, the newly created files were selected automatically, but in XnView this doesn't seem to be the case. Which means that my current workflow is:

Resize 100 images -> manually select all the new files -> Rename them

instead of

Resize 100 images -> Rename the new files

Which is, you know, kind of counterproductive

Is there any way to get around this particular nuisance?

Yes, I know, I can always select a different output directory for the resized images, but I'm keeping it as a last resort.

No, what others users think? Created files must be selected?

Perhaps it would be possible to capture the list of newly created files in the batch process and rename them in the next step?

Well, after some digging I discovered that the solution to my problem can be found in Tools -> Options -> Browser -> Automatically select new files.
