i load an image.
i resize/cut/filter it.
because of the bad paint-filter (;)) i want to add some pixels and choose "open with" ...
now the original file is opened with the other program.

maybe this could be changed, like when choosing "open with", the edited image is temporarly saved to .bmp and opened again in the other prog?

Yes, I've had this problem too.
For now just use "Open with" and go back "Copy to Clipboard" changed image and paste into the other editor.
