Hi all.
When i double click on a jpeg image in a folder containig other files (exe, pdf, ..) i always receive an error message:
"Format of the file <xxxxx.exe (or xxx.txt, dat, doc) could not be determined"

But I clicked on a jpg file !!!

The program works well if the entire folder has image formats or if i click on gif images.

And if you drag&drop a picture file on the xnview icon, what's happened?

The image is opened correctly into xnview, not in a fullscrren mode but with a tab.

Which setting do you have in option/General/Mode when starting...

It is 'Normal'

But i wonder why for gif file the double click is ok but for the jpg seems to enum all the files into the directory ...

Could you check your registry?

Yes !!

This was the problem .. I did not know that registry item .. I checked only the .jpg items ...
