:D First of all: Thank you Pierre, Helmut and all other guys that make xnview possible. You do a wonderful job.

I think of myself as an experienced xnview user but I cannot solve the following problem:

:?: I needed a quick slide show that runs in a little window (so that an other application window is visible on the screen). I could not get there because of two problems. The minor of the two is the fact that the quick slide show does not remember window size after leaving the slide show. That 's very annoying when you have to start a new quick slide show very often. But the major problem is that I can not resize the slide show window at all! When I resize the slide show window the current picture is resized correctly. When the following picture is loaded the top left corner of the window stay at it's place but the window has full-screen-size and the picture is enlarged accordingly.

The same problem was described (and not solved) about 2 years ago http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=7437

I am using Xnview 1.93.6 (up to date version) on Windows XP SP2

The window is always resized according to the picture size

Yes, but most of the new pictures / photos (from 4+MPX cameras) have resolution larger than desktop, so it's not really the "window" mode.
