XnView Software

I have discovered the following problem:

My system opens images in full screen display in XnView, when I double click the file in Explorer. Pressing page down goes to the next file in directory. However, the order is always by name.

Can this be fixed, please?

To get the files ordered by date, I have to press return to open to the XnView file browser, and then go back to full screen view.

By the way, files are ordered by date in Explorer too.

PS: If I might add another thing: The full schreen view first shows (for about 1/4 second), and oversharpened, ugly version of the image. I do not want to see this, and simply wait for the correct view. Can this be avoided?

Options->Fullscreen->Uncheck 'Use delayed high quality'... I think, this is it.

Yes viewer use the sort order of xnview browser

But only, if browser was opened before. Not, when the viewer opens a double clicked image. That is the problem.

Would make sense if the viewer ALWAYS used the same sort order as the browser - even if the browser wasn't opened.

Ok, right for some sort order, which sort setting do you use?
