1.94.2: Option "Use different position/size for browser

Tools -> Options -> Interface -> Use different position/size for browser & view
This option does not work reliably. After one time of correct behaviour the browser window is always resized to the size of the last image window.

Do you have tried with clean .ini? How to reproduce the bug?

Hi Pierre, with a new ini-file the bug does not occur.
Here is just one way how I could reproduce the bug:
- install XnView v1.94.2 from a zip file to a new directory
- remove or rename the ini-file in the application data directory if it does exist already
- start xnview.exe by doubleclicking
- set language to English
- set ini-file-location to program directory (application folder)
- click OK
- close "Tip of the day"
- go to Tools -> Options
-> Interface: check "Use different position/size for browser & view"
-> View -> View -> Auto Image Size: change "Fit image to window, large only" to: "Fit image to desktop, large only"
- click OK
- Browse to a directory with images
- unmaximize inner window
- maximize outer window
- open image in viewer by doubleclicking on it
- unmaximize inner window
- maximize outer window
- click on browser window
- open image in viewer by doubleclicking on it
- doubleclick on image to switch back to browser
- et voilà: now the browser window always gets the size of the last viewer window

You means the MDI child window?

Yes. (MDI = Multiple Document Interface)
