XnView Software

I hope someone can help. I've used XNView successfully for a couple of years (version 1.82.4) but recently have encountered problems with jpg. images being severely distorted after I resize them. (They look fine until I save them, close them and reopen them.) This typically happens when I'm resizing photos uploaded from my Canon digital camera.

I am using Canon's ZoomBrowser EX to actually upload the files, then trying to edit them in XNView because I prefer its functionality.

Which value do you have in option/read-write/write/Jpeg quality??

Ah, it was on "lowest," in an attempt to reduce the file size ...

I believe that solved my problem.
