Question re: using spacebar to view next image

Hi,
I have recently switched to XnView from ACDSee 3. (yeah, I know, took me long enough.)
One feature I really liked about ACDSee is that you could hit spacebar to advance to the next image in the folder. When you reached the last image and hit spacebar, it would take you back to the beginning. However, with XnView, that doesn't happen. Is there an option anywhere in the program to turn that feature on? I have looked everywhere I can think of to look, but cannot find it.
Thanks.
Options are for…

Hello !
• Go to :
Options (F12) >> General >> Keyboard / Mouse >> Space [
Go to next Picture]
- Then, use the Back-space key to come back to the previous one…
- To read as a loop :
Options >> View >> Misc. tab >> [×] Loop on the file-list

Hi,
somehow related ... i'm using this setting ...
but sometimes it happens that occasionally i press space bar in the browser (thumbnail view)
and - arghh- the "show tag box" option will get active
so that i need to navigate thru the menu to revert that.
So, is it possible to cut that link between space bar in the thumbnail view and "show tag box" ?

Why, just press the space again.

Hello Dreaamer,
cannot confirm.
Pressing space again may toggle some checks on or off, for selected thumbs, but does not revert the "show tag box" itself.
At least not at my installation ....
Need to go thru the menu to remove the boxes ..

Oh, now I understand, you mean the tag indicator.
Option for Space also in browser would help, perhaps:
- tag/untag
- select/unselect (same as ctrl+click)
- no action
and (for me

) also:
- tag/untag and go to next item

I was a user of Compupic pro. One feature I have never found on other programs even Xnview is exactly this.
Within the browser/thumbnail view, I could use space bar to select and move onto the next picture. With this feature I could quickly select a bunch of pictures, right arrow to skip a good one, if I made a mistake I could go back and press space bar to select/deselect a picture. And then when I wanted to, I could just press delete and the program would delete the ones I have selected.
Currently in Xnview you press space bar to select/tag the current picture but it does not move onto the next picture, thus doubling the required key presses.
I would like the option to "tag/untag and go to next item" with the space bar.
Another great feature of Compupic pro was persistent tagging. When I closed the program down and opened it up next time, all the tagging/selection was still there.
Thanks
Alan

... a persistent tagging or some albums collection names ... maybe/probably into a next XnViewMP version ...
