XnView crash if folder with a lot of file

I have windows vista 32bit. No problem using XnView but i have a big folder with 5.000 file image (jpg, bmp) and i search to view the folder inside XnView the program after a while crash, also if i try to rebuild cache: i select the folder, xnview search to build the cache and when arrivong to 20% the program go in crash again......
While if i made the same procedure in folder with 200 image file or 1.000 no problem....

In which way i can solve ?

Try disabling Read Ahead Cache

Perhaps a problem with a file?? Do you have only picture files?

In Options -> View -> Misc. -> Cache (disable both items here)

No sometime after 1 minute or after 3 minute while xnview scan the folder...

I have the same problem, and that not solve the problem. :'(

All cache features are disabled and problem remais...

Lot images in folder.

That not occurs if you "explore with xnview" the folder and view all the files... why only in "View Mode"?

The crash is not in browser mode? You have it when you select a file to view?

Yes, this only occurs when i open a image (in a folder with a lot of images, especially wallpapers 300 or more) directly (double click from windows xp) and attemp to change to next or previous image, it takes a long time... (1 - 2 minutes) only one time, the next changes are inmediatly.
