Converting images to .stx format

I am trying to use the xnviewer for converting but there is no extension like .stx to convert so I decide to use nconverter gui and typed
nconvert -i image.gif -o stx
but it says cant open file -o ??

You want to read them or write them? I think you'll need to wait for writing ability, since nconvert shows this message:
Error: This output isn't possible (not yet implemented) (output.stx)
nconvert -v -in -1 -out stx -o output.stx input.png

thanks but on list off supported file formats it says .stx file format also ??? for input and output!
I am doing something wrong I think :
I did type also convert jpeg to gif like : nconvert -i image.gif -o jpg and it still says
error cant read file -o ?

• Nope ! In XnView (same supported formats), you can see that
only reading is supported
on

ya ya cool dont no where you get that but in the main page of xnview it says for read and write for that extension , anyway I have to find another tool for it understand thank you .

Same one the
XnView page of supported formats: Read support for STX files, only. Where did you find the information that writing STX is supported by XnView?
