Though the original suggestion has been (not) made quite a while ago, I'd like to submit it myself - as a very low priority request. Being able to select colors of file types for the browser labels would be nice.

On the other hand, for those that are less patient and always ready to take a shortcut - if you can express a color as three values of R-G-B, find your "xnview.ini" and look up the values under the section [Browser]...

- Like indicated in that chapter of our Manual, that works too for the thumb nails labels…
