I am feeling ignorant or forgetful -- webshots wb1 format. I downloaded the newest version of xnview [redoing my computer like a fool] and am unable to convert a wb1 format. I believe I have activated and downloaded all of the available formats / plugins -- I don't find the format listed anywhere and the system doesn't recognize the format. Anyone out there ?? Thanks

Hello, I'm a newbe here...

I alway's used XNVIEW to see my webshots images but since I updated to the latest version I do not see them anymore and when I try to open them I get an error message saying thet it is not possible to read them. I installed the full version so I do not understand what is happening because as I found on the net it should be no problem to see them displayed in XNVIEW

Many thanks for a little help and have a nice day
Paula

:) Hi Paula ! Welcome aboard !

• You must have the option :
Options (F12) >> General [×] Display all image files types ticked !

• Further, whether that doesn't work either, you could add the WB1 extension in the include field of the box :
Options >> File list, please see HERE

 Kind regards,
Claude

Hi Claude,

Many thanks for your quick reply but I have one more question for you. Do I just have type wb1 or do I have to type something more there?

Thnx again

:) Again…

• No, only the extension¦s you need to get displayed, like it's explained in our online Manual page…
- Note : The indications “Include” and “Exclude” are NOT on the real dialogue, they are still missing despite N… requests… :|

Thank you for this post but... if it was that easy - I would not have asked how to do it  - there is no such option anymore since version 1.96.2  and I did not have the install file anymore for that version.

Anyhow I added the extention as mentionned above but it still not worked for me - but as I saw the the program is also presented in a ZIP file on the net and then you do not have to install anything, I transferred that programfile from my other laptop and did an upgrade with an install from 1.97 in the same directory and yet it works again for me too. :D :D

This might be the solution for other people too
