XnView Software

I am using XNView 1.96.5.
I got a new wide dispaly and since then all my photos show much too wide.
I'm using 1152x864 resolution and would not like to change it.
I tried all options in Auto Image Size (Fit...), but none seems to solve the peoblem.
Have I missed anything?

This is not an XnView issue, your resolution is not good - 1152x864 has aspect ratio 4:3 and it's not wide, you have to use wide resolution, the best - native resolution with aspect ratio 16:10 or 16:9 (1680x1050 or 1920x1200...). Aspect ratio of your monitor and resolution aspect ratio must be the same!

Or you could live with dark bars on either side of the 1152 x 864.

But if you have a wide display, why would you choose to remain at 1152 x 864 anyway?
