XnView aborts on multiscan

Hi,
Some scanners, e.g. CanoScan 8800F, allows several items to be scanned in one go.
XnView does not like that.
I use the Acquire into command which brings me to the Canon scanner driver where I can set the scanner
to scan several pictures on the platen in one go.
When the scanning is completed, the scanner driver attempts to deliver several images back to XnView.
XnView only accepts the first one and then proceeds to abort.
I am running v1.96.5
1. First of all, aborting is unacceptable and should be fixed asap.
At least XnView should give a warning message that only the first image was accepted and then proceed
in a controlled manner.
2. Secondly I hope that multiscan will be implemented in XnView. It is a very handy feature and I find XnView
to be a better scanner manager than the software supplied by Canon.
