  • Hit WinKey+R to open the Run... dialog box.
  • Type explorer.exe /select,"%APPDATA%\XnView\category.db" and click OK.

Guys you are great, works perfect. Is there any way to change the path of category.db? e.g. to "My Documents"

I would like to transfer the settings (categories etc.) from a machine with WinXP to one with Win7. So the structure of the path to the images has changed and just copying the file is no use. Is there another way to manage this transfer? Is there a way to edit the db file?
