According to the changelog, "Rating & colour label lost after renaming" -
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=17377 is fixed in 1.96b2. On my Win XP, when I rename a file in Windows Explorer, the rating is still lost. Or was it only fixed for renaming
within XnView which works fine? /Georg

OK, renaming within XnView is working fine so far
As mentioned in several forum threads, it would be great to have the ratings also stored within image metadata so ratings etc work on other computers and after move/rename/changed drive letters (just a reminder

)

Yes and it works fine. A pitty that XnView MP does not yet have many other functions I often use...but MP is still young
