Hi,

in WinXP all my favorites with names that contains swedish letters malfunction. What happens:
The letters change to Ã¥, ä and ö (å, ä and ö), the folder icon disappears and the favorite does not work.

The descript.ion file is ok? the problem is with favorite name or folder name?

I can not find any descript.ion. Do you mean "bookmark.ini"? It seems to be alright. The swedish letters are there correctly.

I am using XP at the moment, but I can check other systems as well if you'd like.

Houps sorry, yes bookmark.ini. So bookmark.ini is correct. And in the bookmark menu?

You mean this? It is wrong also:

Hey, I started to add new folders... its just getting more weird. And now there are strange symbols in the 'bookmark.ini' too, so it also becomes faulty.

If you remove your bookmar.ini, and you add folders, do you have the problem again?

Yes, its still there.

bookmark.ini is in UTF8?

I have no idea. In Notepad++ it says: ANSI as UTF-8

and

* Encode in ANSI
Encode in UTF-8
Encode in UCS-2 Big Endian
Encode in UCS-2 Little Endian

and

* UTF-8 without BOM
