Whether it is possible to print some pictures on one sheet, as in ACDSee. It is very important for me. I do not use XnView only because of it

I think this could/should be a built-in feature of XnView, but as a workaround you may try to create a contact sheet (oh, lot of work for you). Another workaround is try the
FinePrint software. It can print everything from every appplication at 2, 4 or 8 pages per paper side.

to access the contact sheet and printing multiple images, hold down control key while clicking on images, then right click "create contact sheet". you will then see a window that will ask for some sizing parameters. i start with 800x600 for page size. every thing else is up to your specs for what you need.

Dan....thanks for that tip. The directions given for Contact Sheet on the program are unclear.
Much appreciated.

On Windows, Ctrl+Mouse click is the common way for multi-selection. Since not all users know this, we'll add an appropriate info in the online help.
XnView DeLuxe 2.0, the commercial version of XnView can print multiple files on one page, perhaps the functionality makes it in one of the next XnView (freeware) versions.

Thanks Helmut.....that would be useful for those of us that ae newbies. I knew about "ctrl+alt+ click on multiple items. That didn't seem to work.
Great program.
I have a question: I made a "slide show" and saved it to MY Pictures, but I can't open it. I get an error note saying to set the extension(association) in My Computer.
Could you lead me through that!
Much appreciated.

Please have a look at the topic
Opening a slide show file. (Think you have started this new topic yourself - which was a good idea.)
