To reproduce:

• 1. Open 0.25 browser
  2. Select 2 images
  3. Go to Tools->Compare
  4. MP 0.25 freezes

In 0.26 Compare opens successfully.

However, there is a strange problem with the Compare thumbstrip when the MP window is "Restored".

To reproduce:

1. Maximize MP
2. Open Browser
3. Select two images
4. Tools->Compare
5. If not already showing, display the thumbstrip
6. Drag thumbstrip margin down to make thumbs smaller
7. Make the thumbs very small
8. Restore MP
9. Observe behavior of thumbstrip

On my system, the thumbstrip flickers quickly between two different sizes

10. Drag thumbstrip margin UP to make thumbs bigger
11. Thumbstrip stops flickering

The thumbstrip flickering mentioned in the previous post does not occur in 0.26.1

Please check XnViewMP 0.30

Hi Pierre... the 0.30 thumbnail rendering issues are also apparent in the Compare view.




Notice that the thumbnails do not fit properly in the thumbstrip (vertical scrollbar is showing).

Here it is. This same issue applies to Layouts Film Strip 1 and Film Strip 2 and to the full screen thumbstrip (when the thumbs actually appear in it).... so it's just a problem in the math for calculating thumbs height.

v0.31 fixes this problem for Compare AND Full Screen.

But...

There remains a similar problem for Film Strip 1 and Film Strip 2 when the "small" toolbar has wrapped to two lines. The issue occurs for both "Thumbnails" and "Thumbnails + labels" modes:

Problem not reproducable (in v0.84 the small toolbar shrinks but no longer wraps to two lines).
