XnView Software

Hello,
I need to scan a few pages and save them into 1 pdf file (instead of many pdf files).
I am using
File->Acquire into..
then checked 'save as multipage' and selecting PDF format. However, I only find tmp_xnview-1.png and tmp_xnview-2.png in the output directory.
It works if I change the format to TIFF but not PDF. Any suggestions?

Strange, which version do you have?

I have 1.97.4 .
Libformat ver 5.62.
I have tried it on 2 computers - 1 winXP and 1 vista. Both show the same issue.
Fyi, I am running this on the Canon D480 all-in-one which is connected as a network scanner.

As far as I know multi-page creation is only for TIFF. Correct me if I am wrong.

No PDF too

Xnview can create multipage files in several different formats; tiff, pdf, ldf, windows icon, photoshop, and zsoft paintbrush.

Forgive me. I was misunderstood. I meant when acquiring pages using an scanner.

Well, you should be able to use the same multipage formats when acquiring from scanner, there's no real reason why it would be otherwise. Unfortunately I can't test that myself since I don't have a working scanner to hook up.

On the acquire window it says only TIFF can be used for multipage.
