XnView Software

The jpg files in neighbourhood with cr2 files freeze few seconds before closing and the XnView doesn't respond.

Say, there are 0207.jpg, 0208.jpg, 0209.cr2, 0210.cr2, 0211.cr2, 0212.jpg and 0213.jpg files. The files 0208.jpg and 0212.jpg are closing too slow once opened. No problem with other jpg ones.

Same problem with 1.97, 1.97.2 or 1.97.5 versions. Running Vista Ultimate+XnView Zip version (portable).

XnView try to load the next file, so cr2. If you close XnView, and file not yet loaded, you can have a little delay.
option/View/Misc/Read ahead

Thanks. Unticking the "Read ahead" box solves the problem.
