XnView Software

Hello. I started to use XnView at version 1.97.3 and it worked perfectly as well as version 1.97.4, but when I upgraded to 1.97.5 I began having a weird bug when I have a maximized window.
It's easier if I show an image, but please note it's along the right side of the image, and the settings are unchanged between versions: http://www.picpaste.com/xnview_1.97_5_a ... de_bug.png

I browsed through those posts, but the only solution advised didn't work for me. I'm using windows 7 x86, and when xnview window is maximized, if I hover the cursor over the right side the scroll bar barely showing glows from the hover, and when I click it the maximized window with an opened image returns to the browser.
Solution advised, but NOT working
Turn ON option:
"Disable display scaling on high DPI settings"
in Properties|Compatibility for xnview.exe

Forgot to mention I also have the grey bar on the right in the browser window, but that is a minor thing as it fits with the rest of the GUI, but the maximized image window with the black background and the buggy right side is very noticeable.

You have not this bug in 1.97.3??

Are you telling me to downgrade? Because the last version which I didn't have the bug was 1.97.4, if I'm not mistaken. All versions after that one have the bug.

Please try to install an older version and tell me if you have the bug. This bug seems to be with all versions & some vista

Ok, uninstalled 1.97.6 and installed 1.97.4, and it told me the folder already existed, which after checking had category.db, default.bar and xnview.ini files from 1.97.6 install. I installed anyway to see what happened and it behaved like 1.97.6 with the bug. I uninstalled again, cleaned the folder and installed 197.4 again and now it seems to not show the bug I had, only that grey vertical bar on both maximized window and browser window. With this I can live with, even if it didn't happen when I installed 1.97.4 in the first place.

On a side note, I read a few topics of other people who also would like a feature I'm fond of, being that the smooth keyboard scroll, as seen on acdsee. I know I can right click the image and scroll it but even then the scroll isn't as smooth as the plain cursor scroll of acdsee. I know this should go to the suggestions forum but as I've seen many users asking for it for as long as 5 years ago, I thought it might be worth mentioning.
