Original photo labeled, needs returned

I made a mistake in the batch processing panel and my original photo's got labeled. I would like to convert back to the original form for the originals so I can modify or change the labels at will but not change the originals.
So the question is this. How might I do this thing of eliminating the labels in this program. I might be able to do some cropping and resizing in XnView or other photo products, but will that do the fix I am looking for.
Just need some advice on how to do this correction the best, easiest, surest, way(s).

What do you mean to describe with the term 'labels'? Metadata (Iptc, Exif, Xmp)?
Metadata can be erased from file with:
Browser menu>Edit>Metadata>Clean...
Or Clean metadata in batch convert's image transformations.

What I mean with Labels is to put a line of text along the bottom. I would like to keep the original photo's separate from the ones I have labeled.
You comments give me a hint of where to look. It there is something in the enclosed meta data that I can change or erase that will make things easier. I will check that lead out.
Any other ideas are welcomed too.

I don't know this program well enough to take chance at losing the photo's. So I used Paint Shop Pro to set up boundaries and crop to the limits, thus eliminating the text block at the bottom of the photo. It was quick, only took a couple movements and a couple clicks to perform the job. I then had PSP resize the print to the previous size. Now all is well. I have the originals and the labeled copies.
Thanks for the possible solution. Maybe when I get more experience with this product I will have a local way of fixing mistakes.

Was that a question or comment? If a comment, I can not find any "Image/Crop" items as Iook through the menus. If a question I will try to answer if you wish.

Are you using only browser? An area can be directly selected on image while in viewer/editor mode. Fellow users sometimes miss this and move straight on to batch processing (with less visual feedback).
Options... General>Keyboard/Mouse>Switching Modes>Use ENTER to switch between [ Browser<>Viewer ]

Thanks for the tip. I did try your hints and after a while I was able to get a photo on screen and it had a tool bar above it that allowed Cropping. It did not seem to be something direct in you comment; but, something that happened as I played around. I will need to take more time and see if I can map the steps to get from one area to another. As I still have not had enough time today to really learn what the path was. So thanks again as that seemed to be something missing in what I have learned about this program so far.
