I'm using v 1.97 on Vista. How do I keep XnView from making a dinging sound every time I select a thumbnail in the browser?

This is the best free program available for dealing with graphic files by the way. It's amazing all the functionality it contains. GREAT JOB!

Yeah. Every time I click on a thumbnail I hear a ding sound. It's an OS system ding sound. I looked in the sound control panel for XnView but it's not there.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm using Vista. I've had it do this for several versions now. It drives me crazy but the program is so good I put up with it. Typically programs will show up in my OS control panel and allow me to turn off certain sounds. I guess because the dings are not meant to be there XnView does not show up in the control panel. Obviously it's an aberrant thing I'll just live with unless you know of a way to fix it.
Thanks

:) Hello !

• You could use a free software like i.e. DemoStudio.
- It works fine with XP-Pro, but I don't know with Vista (it might do, though…)

PS to Pierre : The soft I quote is the continuation of CamStudio which I think is no more maintened…
