Hi,

i'm using the newest version (1.98.2), and before 1.98 (and the ones before).
Is it a known issue, that mp4-files can not be renamed within the filelist/F2? How can i solve this problem?

Well everything else works fine for me.
But i'm having some problems with mp4 files.


My System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64
Phenom II 4x 2,5Ghz
8Gb Ram
120Gb SSD

What's happened if you try to rename?

In German "Fehler beim Umbenennen der Datei".
So in English it would be something like "error on renaming the file".

This error only occurs while trying to rename mp4-files.

And there are often problems while watching them - especially when looking through/zapping through the videos. That often leads to crashes of xnview.

The last thing could be a codec problem.
But issues with renaming seems to be a problem with xnview.
