Request: Animation for Tab behaviors (Iconify tabs)

Hi,

The "Iconify tabs" feature is useful Tab GUI enhancement feature for XnViewMP :P ....
...However currently I think it could do with a little snazzy eye-candy added to it!

Therefore, I would like to see some tab animation for the "Iconify tabs" feature within XnView MP 0.48 +higher :D
...As seen in Opera 11+ "pin tabs" feature, the tab smoothly resizes inwards and outwards when pinning a tab.

I believe Opera browser is using the same or similar Qt interface framework as XnView MP to support this.

Chrome browser also is another fine example of such animation.

Note: Tab animation already exists (can be seen) with tab re-arranging in XnViewMP (due to Qt)

Animation requested for:

• Opening any tabs
• Closing any tabs
• Iconify tabs
• Duplicating tabs
• Drag & drop file to tab bar opening/closing
• 'Captures' tabs opening/closing
• "Close other tabs"

• tab Opening = Fast jump Bounce animation for opening
• tab Closing = Shrink then fade out (like Chrome browser)

This feature will be purely optional and would be disabled by default.

This is a good idea!

Opera has the best tab management metaphor IMO.

Thanks John :) and Yes Opera does have a fine tab management metaphor in actuality Opera browser was the first (before Firefox) a true MDI application.

Right, I would also like to see some Tab animation for Tab opening/closing of the "Batch convert", "Compare" and "About" tabs. ------>> the same 'growth' effect animation for this as seen in Firefox 10:
