How to compare folders?

Hello!
Is there a way to compare folders using XnView? So far I didn't manage to open two instances of the Browser, thus I have to use Total Commander or just Windows folders side by side.
Thanks.

Have you disabled
Code: Select all
"Options - Category: General - Tab: Operations - First command: Only one instance"

Good idea.

Maybe not a good idea.
You could also use Winmerge (freeware):
http://winmerge.org/?lang=en
IMHO compare folders / synchronization could be a rather complex thing, and this is always the point where I would say:
Where is the separation between an "Image Tool" and a "File Manager"? Maybe this feature belongs to specialized file tools. But this is only my personal opinion.

Thanks! Good idea, I forgot about it. I was trying to open two browsers inside the main window.

Unfortunately TC builds thumbnails very slowly, thus it is not very convenient for visual comparison.

You are right, but XnView is actually an Image File Manager
